13) Install old disk in laptop too

Its a shame not to use the old disk any more. It could be used as a USB disk but its not very fast.

And maybe not all your data fits on the new SSD disk. Then you might consider removing the DVD drive and put the old disk in place using a HDD caddy. And use the DVD drive occasionally using a USB holder.
